The Windsor Hotel is a piece of History in the Overberg and is wonderfully situated to make any stay-over memorable. The view for whaling season is just the best. Easy walks to the hub of the town and access to some great dining and cuisine experiences.

The view from my room was sweet as, but the noise from next door was a real downer, eh? Staff were friendly and the beds were comfy.

The room facing the sea.
It only serves breakfast and no dinners. There is no DSTV channels. The bathroom needs some upgrading eg putting in a shower and do away with the bath/shower combination.

New-fashioned & newly renovated unit with the bedroom, soft bedding plus a great seaview. A safe area, amazing location just next door to the cliff path.

Bright mornings by the sea
The location was fantastic, right by the ocean. Waking up to oceanic views each morning was a delight, coupled with a delicious buffet breakfast.
The management seemed disorganized, leading to a couple of frustrating issues, including an overly powerful tap, made daily routines slightly chaotic.

Excellent position for looking out across the Bay and Whale watching if around. Large Car park andright in the middle of the town with easy access to shops and restaurants
Reliant on its history and excellent location, however the rooms are very tired and old fashioned and requireto be up graded espoecially as it was one of the dearest hotel & B*B accomodations we stayed in and do not consider it to be that good value when compared to others. Staff not exactly friendly or overly welcoming especially ion the Breakfast room and at reception. Very dissappointed that it was teh only hotel & B*B over a 3 week holiday that only provided flora and not real butter at breakfast. Cost custting taken too far. Would only recommend hotel due to its positioning

Fine views from the third floor made for a serene atmosphere, upgraded with the refreshing ocean breeze that filled the room. The location is perfect for unwinding, but staff responsiveness varies. While Godfrey stands out for his eagerness to assist, others like Anele lacked the same warmth and helpfulness. Breakfast could use improvement, as the cooked items were served cold.
